Kokanee Salmon

$125.00

Kokanee trout are native to streams and lakes of the Northwest. Kokanee trout are actually landlocked salmon that transform during spawning from sliver to brilliant red-orange with a green head and fins. The transformation is used to attract mates. My family and I were lucky enough to happen across a stream filled with migrating, spawning Kokanee and were awed by this display of natural beauty.

The attached photos show both the male and female Kokanee Salmon
